The course was part of the centrally organised training we go on every so often as part of the graduate scheme. I have been on other development courses sponsored by the business area I was working in at the time, however they're always especially good fun when all the graduates get together for a few days; the welcome conference we had a year ago was particularly good!</p><p>The course was in Ambleside in the Lake District and was brilliant. We were able to take part in loads of activities which was great fun (although they weren't mandatory for those who didn't want to go abseiling etc), and on the flip side the 'classroom' work was tough but rewarding. It provided a really good opportunity to learn about myself and more to the point, how I could use that knowledge to my advantage in the workplace. I have been attached to Risk Operations in our Retail division for the last 18 months and have spent time working in Fraud Defence Analytics and then in Resource Optimisation for our Collections and Recoveries functions.
